Gas Booster Servicing

ACS engineers hold the required ICAE/BPM1 qualification and are fully qualified and experienced in servicing, commissioning and installing gas boosters.

What is a Gas Booster?

A gas booster is designed to propel compressed gases such as nitrogen, air, hydrogen, helium, and methane to higher pressures from constant supply or from bottled gas sources. These are typically found on installation pipework in order to increase the supply of gas when high pressures are required.

Do I need to get my Gas Booster Serviced?

Gas boosters need to be changed every five years. It is a legal requirement that all gas boosters must be inspected at least once a year and the fan bearings need to be replaced every five years.

Gas Booster Installation

If your gas pressure requires a booster to meet your plant requirements, you will need to have a gas booster installed. ACS expert engineers hold the required ICAE/BPM1 qualification and are fully qualified and experienced in servicing, commissioning and installing these high-pressure pump systems. We also ensure that all of our mechanical and commercial heating engineers are Gas Safe qualified with the Gas Safe Register giving you extra peace of mind.
